AGFOA, a nonprofit organization, promotes excellence in governmental finance through leadership, education, and communication.  Our members include state and local government officials; boroughs, cities, schools, utilities, and other finance professionals.

Member Services

Throughout the year, AGFOA works toward sponsoring meetings, seminars, and workshops.  In addition to the non-conference training, the annual Spring and Fall Conference offers a variety of educational opportunities which are enhanced by the opportunity to meet others and exchange ideas.  The conferences include approximately 18 hours of continuing education credit along with the delivery of timely information from specialists.  Members are encouraged to become involved in any of the organization’s committees.

Membership Types & Registration

There are no refunds after your application is accepted.  Membership dues are payable annually on a calendar year basis; with benefits expiring December 31st regardless of registration date.

Active Membership - Annual Dues $95.00 | Register or Renew
is extended to those elected officials or public employees who have the responsibility for or are employed in any aspect of governmental finance.

Associate Membership - Annual Dues $95.00 | Register or Renew
is open to persons not eligible for active membership.

Honorary Membership - No Dues
is conferred by the Board of Directors to persons who have made outstanding contributions to the Alaska Government Finance Officers Association.
